Esther Crew
As an executive HR leader with 25+ years of UK and global experience, including CHRO across 21 countries inside a General Atlantic portfolio company, Esther knows what PE-backed CEOs need to lead at pace, and the strategy required to deliver it.
In 2013, Esther founded Performance and Engagement®, a leadership and inclusion consultancy that guides leaders and their teams on how to turn intent into measurable performance.
Through partnerships with leading global organisations, Esther and her team have amassed a wealth of experience in spotting leadership drift early and helping leaders maintain precision at pace. From addressing leadership let-downs to alleviating the fear of getting it wrong, Esther and her team have developed thousands of leaders.
Recognising the need for broader impact, Esther founded Inclusion Live, a leadership development company built for PE. It equips PE-backed CEOs and their leadership layers to lead inclusively and perform. Its 2025 Leadership Blueprint draws on research with 593 UK PE-backed mid-market firms. Her determination to build organisations where leaders and teams can advance and deliver is the foundation for everything Inclusion Live® stands upon.
